The Scholarship Committee of the Wichita Property Tax Conference will be offering full scholarships to eligible applicants for attendance at the 2026 conference being held in Wichita, KS.
These scholarships will be offered first to individuals from state or government organizations and who can demonstrate that they will transfer the skills and knowledge acquired at the conference to the work they undertake in their organization. The scholarship is designed to defray the individual’s registration, hotel, and travel expenses (other expenses i.e., food, taxi, car rental, incidentals, etc. are not covered).
Additional criteria will also assist in selection of the scholarship recipient, including an applicant’s financial need.
Scholarship recipients will be notified within 30 days of receipt of their application of approval or denial by the Scholarship Committee with the Wichita Property Tax Conference Scholarship Committee. Recipients are then expected to make their own travel arrangements and email the invoice(s) for reimbursement to Lauren Fontarum with the WSU Conference Office at lauren.fontarum@wichita.edu. Upon receiving notification that your application has been approved, Lauren Fontarum will:
- Make lodging arrangements on your behalf as soon as she receives your travel itinerary, along with providing you with a hotel reservation confirmation code; and,
- Provide you with a conference registration promotion code to be used by you to register for the 2026 Wichita Property Tax Conference. (Please do not share the promo code).
