April 22, 2024 — Three Wichita State University students have secured the prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation — an award worth $159,000 over three years.

April 9, 2024 -The seventh cohort of Rudd Scholars includes 15 Kansas high schools who have chosen to attend Wichita State University. Each Rudd Scholar will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and considerable networking and coaching support along the way. 

April 3, 2024 — Wichita State University has announced two executive-level retirements for 2024.

April 3, 2024 - A mural titled “Adelante Juntos – Forward Together,” will cover the Duerksen Fine Arts Center Amphitheater soon. The mural, and the collaboration that informs the work by muralist Nathalia Gallego, will recognize the contributions of Hispanic people to the university and community.
