Vizzini, 54, has bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in aeronautics/astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has an extensive background in composite materials research and is a registered engineer in Kansas, Michigan and Mississippi. That background should serve Vizzini well when he
