It is time to start thinking about Shocker basketball. Wichita State is giving fans several opportunities to check out the 2025-26 version of the women's and men's teams before the season starts.

Participants will also receive one complimentary ticket to DePaul at Wichita State on Dec. 13.
The annual Shocker Madness scrimmage is Oct. 4, headlined by Grammy winning artist Lupe Fiasco. The men’s and women’s team will participate.
Shocker Madness is part of Wichita State's Shocktoberfest, a week of events that begins on Sept. 29 and includes Family Weekend.
On Oct. 11, Drake visits for a charity scrimmage starting at 11 a.m. All tickets for this men’s scrimmage are $20. Proceeds will be split between the Wichita Children's Home and UJUMP, a Wichita non-profit junior mentoring and entrepreneurial program founded by former Wichita State All-American Lynbert "Cheese" Johnson.
The format includes a scrimmage featuring offensive and defensive segments, in-game scenarios and live play.
When do the games start?
