May 13, 2019 -- As an engineering major, Colton Russell found himself looking at many options of where to go to college. Wichita State University, he says, "just felt right."

March 18, 2019 -- In newly released national rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at Wichita State University is ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs, one of only two institutions from the state of Kansas to make the list.

March 16, 2019 -- The Help Hangar partnership at Textron Aviation shows how Wichita State’s applied learning model works for students and industry. The Help Hangar was introduced in 2017 as a service to assist employees with a variety of IT-related issues. Instead of explaining your issue over the phone, an on-site Help Hangar representative meets with you directly to diagnose the issue, resolve it in the room, or puts you in touch with the correct support team to help you with your issue.

Feb. 20, 2019 -- The Wichita State University Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College has announced the 10 recipients of the Koch Scholars program for the fall 2019 semester. Selected from more than 100 applicants, these 10 recipients will each be awarded between $30,000 and $45,000 during their four-year attendance at WSU.

Graduating senior Jacob Griffith won a prestigious National Science Foundation fellowship to support his upcoming graduate studies.

Jan. 24, 2018 - Wichita State has been ranked the top university in the country for industry-funded aeronautical engineering research and development. The new rankings were released by the National Science Foundation.

Jan. 10, 2018 - Wichita State grad Angela Parrish is a featured soloist in the Golden Globe-winning musical "La La Land." You can hear her sing in the movie's opening track, "Another Day of Sun."
