April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

March 25, 2019 -- Tammy Dorsey graduated from Wichita State University with a biomedical engineering degree and is studying in the Master of Innovation Design program.

March 19, 2019 -- Seniors from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Andover Central High School have been chosen for the Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at Wichita State University.

March 14, 2019 -- To honor Women’s History Month, WSU Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship are highlighting influential WSU women who have made a difference in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. This week's feature is MID student Maggie Koops.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

March 4, 2019 -- To honor Women’s History Month, WSU Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship at Wichita State have collaborated to highlight influential WSU women who have made a difference in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. This week's feature is Tonya Witherspoon.

Feb. 3, 2019 -- The installation of "pods" on campus are part of the new place-making initiative at Wichita State inviting students, employees and community members to “linger longer” on campus.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.

Nov. 27, 2018 -- Despite the wintry weather, students planted new “flowers” on campus this week as part of the Wulip Garden placemaking initiative aimed at creating a unique and inviting environment for campus visitors.

Nov. 2, 2018 -- Jessica Aldrich, a graduate student at Wichita State University, is leading the way in bringing StartUp Grind U to WSU. StartUp Grind is a global startup company designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs.

Oct. 9, 2018 -- People are invited to take home Kanbee figures from the east side of campus to display.

Aug. 22, 2018 -- Wichita State students Jared Goering, Ryan Becker and Spencer Steinert are working together to positively impact lives through wearable technology. Together they created a product called Cyfive and have been perfecting it for the past three years.

July 12, 2018 -- Wichita State student Mary Alexis Wirths is spending her summer interning with Harvester Arts, a nonprofit organization that brings artists from across the nation for two-week residencies in Wichita.

April 19, 2017 - A new degree is being proposed at Wichita State University -- one that would focus on animation, audio production, game design and filmmaking.
