May 9, 2024 — More than 2,400 students are eligible to participate in Wichita State University’s 126th spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11 in Charles Koch Arena.

May 03, 2024 Christine Cleary was one of Wichita State University’s 2020 Rudd Scholars. From Clearwater, Kansas, she moved to Wichita for college, which required her to adjust to living in a city, but thanks to the Rudd Scholarship, she was able to fully devote herself to college life and will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.

May 3, 2024 - Om Hitendra Mahajan will continue his education in sport management as he prepares to revolutionize sports and sports careers in his home country of India. He is getting his start working with professors and mentors at Wichita State University.

April 12, 2024 — As a full-time employee of Wichita State University, Gabriel Fonseca struggled to balance work, classes and a personal life while he pursued his doctoral degree; but, ultimately, the support of the university community helped him persevere.

Jan. 22, 2024 — The FirePoint Innovations Center at Wichita State University announced it has been selected to deliver Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub programming for the National Security Innovation Network through the newly established Great Plains Mission Acceleration Center, an innovation and collaboration hub designed to connect small businesses, academia and the Department of Defense to support defense-focused technology development.
