Feb. 15, 2024 - From the center of campus to downtown Wichita, Wichita State University’s footprint continues to grow and offer new opportunities for students and our community. As the spring semester rolls on, you will notice ongoing and new construction across our 330-acres and beyond.

Dec. 11, 2023 - Nicolas Olmedo studied in the W. Frank Barton School of Business and will start work at Textron Aviation in January in the sales development program.

Dec. 11, 2023 — More than 1,400 students are eligible to participate in Wichita State University’s 126th fall commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in Charles Koch Arena.

Dec. 11, 2023 - Tyler Lefebvre enjoys Wichita’s dining scene and the activities and clubs offered at Wichita State University. He has been involved with the Wichita State’s varsity esports program as a team member and helping organize and manage the team.

Dec. 8, 2023 - Ryan Littlejohn worked his way through Wichita State University with help from instructors who guided him through the balancing act of academics and a busy life.

May 10, 2022 - Nerea Makoli Quiros encourages students to confidently ask for help from professors and classmates. May 5, 2022 — Chonnor Ludolph was named Mr. Shocker at the athletic department’s Gold Carpet Awards in April, given to a senior who displays excellence in athletics, academics, character, service, and personal development. Ludolph finished third in the American Athletic Conference decathlon in 2021. Chonnor is one of more than 2,400 students eligible for spring 2022 graduation. Feb. 23, 2022 — Wichita State alumnus J. Robert Young has pledged a gift of $3 million to provide resources that will help students build successful careers. Of that total, $2 million will endow the J. Robert Young Executive-in-Residence Program in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The remaining $1 million will support the Shocker Success Center project, which will consolidate 17 student services in Clinton Hall.

Dec. 8, 2021— Kennedy Stamm was led to Wichita State because she liked the Wichita School District. Now, she will start her teaching job in August after receiving a degree in elementary education. Stamm is one of more than 1,100 students eligible for fall 2021 graduation.

Dec. 9, 2021 -- Khalid Raza has never forgotten his Shocker roots. Now the chief executive officer of Graphiant, a next-generation networking technology company based in San Francisco, Raza’s first independent start-up began in 1992 when he was working as a graduate assistant at Wichita State University.
