Education in Kansas is entering a new era, and Propellus Tech Summit 2025 is leading the way.
Co-hosted by Wichita Public Schools and Wichita State University’s College of Applied Studies, this dynamic two-day summit—happening May 28–29, 2025 at Wichita State University's Rhatigan Student Center—is reimagining professional development for educators. Designed for teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and pre-service educators across public and private settings, Propellus offers a bold, future-focused experience rooted in innovation, collaboration, and practical strategies that can be implemented immediately in classrooms.
“At Wichita State, we are proud to partner with Wichita Public Schools to co-host the Propellus Tech Summit—an exciting event that reflects our shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and preparing educators to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Propellus offers a powerful space to explore transformative technologies and reimagine what’s possible in teaching and learning,” said Dr. Jennifer Friend, Dean of the College of Applied Studies at Wichita State University.
Propellus is more than a conference — it is a launchpad for creativity, professional growth, and real-world problem solving. Attendees will explore AI-driven tools, engage with platforms like Canva, Adobe, and Canvas, and gain exposure to emerging technologies through interactive sessions, “snack-sized” poster presentations, and immersive workshops. Each element of the summit is intentionally designed to spark dialogue, ignite fresh thinking, and deliver turnkey solutions that save educators time while amplifying impact.
Summit highlights include:

High-energy keynotes from national thought leaders
