M.A. in Communication from Wichita State University
After working many years as a pharmaceutical sales representative, Sandy decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Communication, which she earned from WSU in 2006. During that time, Sandy served as a GTA and GRA for the Elliott School. Upon graduation, she served as an adjunct lecturer teaching Communication 111 and 325.
In 2008, Sandy became an Academic Lecturer and Undergraduate Adviser. Besides her teaching and advising duties, she is also the faculty adviser for the Zeta Eta chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national collegiate honorary communication society.
She has served as faculty adviser for Pi Iota Chi, a local sorority, and presently serves as the faculty adviser for the Wichita State University chapter of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Sandy and her husband Martin live in west Wichita and are the proud parents of daughters Amanda and Madeline who are both pursuing advanced degrees.
