Students who want to develop their professional skills working for a local employer or electoral candidate can receive credit and financial support from the Department.  There are also 0 credit options through the Career Development Center.

Spring Internships are available with members of Congress, the executive branch, interest groups, environmental organizations, education and trade associations, news agencies, embassies, political think tanks, and other agencies. The department provides stipends and housing vouchers.
