The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) has approximately 15,000 students and is one of the largest schools of its kind in Germany. HAW Hamburg offers a wide range of programs in engineering, IT, life sciences, design and media, and business and social sciences. The school’s focus is on applied sciences, which provides students with a practical view of their fields of study through projects, lab work, and internships.
