Scholarships awarded through WISE
Each fall, the Wallace Invitational for Scholarships in Engineering (WISE) awards 10 prospective engineering students Wallace Scholarships of $30,500 each for four years of study.
When is WISE?
WISE will be held on Friday, Nov. 20. Students must be present to participate. If you have any questions, please contact Lizzie Butler at lizzie.butler@wichita.edu.
To be eligible to compete, you must:
- Be a 2027 high school graduate
- Submit Wichita State admission application materials by Nov. 1
- Submit scholarship materials by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 8
- Declare an engineering major
- Meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a minimum unweighted 3.5 GPA, or
- Have a minimum ACT composite score of 27, or
- Have a minimum SAT composite of 1260, or
- Rank in the top 10 percent of your class at the end of your junior year
