Join Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for Mindfulness and Meditation. Mindfulness is focusing our awareness on the present moment. We do this by intentionally noticing our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without any judgement. As human beings, our minds frequently find themselves in problem-solving mode. While this is necessary at times, it is also important to be able to ground yourself in the present moment. These sessions offer various meditation exercises designed to develop mindfulness and promote holistic wellness.
