Join Wichita State University’s Office of Research and WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement to learn about how industry and academia can work together to advance both fundamental and applied research.  

The event includes presentations on the basics of establishing and benefiting from both industry-sponsored research projects and SBIR/STTR grants, with current examples of such collaborations from seven WSU faculty members.  Two WSU faculty members will also describe start-up businesses that they established while employed at WSU.  WSU’s Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host poster presentations about the research taking place within the departments of Fairmount College and additional academic colleges.
