The Black History Brunch is a morning of joy, reflection and community connection. This year’s event will include the presentation of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major Award, along with additional awards recognizing outstanding leadership and service within our campus and local community. Guests will also hear from a keynote speaker who will share insight, inspiration and perspectives rooted in Black history and excellence. Enjoy delicious food, uplifting music and intentional conversation as we honor the impact of Black leaders past and present. Open to all students, staff, and community members, with a focus on celebrating Black and African American culture.
Black History Month Brunch is hosted by Student Engagement & Belonging. For more information about this event or other SE&B programs, please call (316) 978-3022 or email SEB@wichita.edu
