The annual Japan Festival is an opportunity for everyone in our community to come and share an afternoon of Japanese culture with food, arts and crafts, and performances.

The festival will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a martial arts performance demonstrating traditional samurai fighting styles. Booths will open at 1 p.m. and feature traditional Japanese food, calligraphy, ink painting, origami, ikebana, and more. Presentations will also be held throughout the afternoon on a variety of topics, and the winners of the annual haiku contest will be announced at 3:30 p.m.
