The Academic Resources Conference (ARC) returns August 3-7, 2026, with a full week of free, online sessions designed to help WSU faculty and staff get ready for the fall semester. Each day runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and covers a different focus area, from Blackboard tools and educational technology to accessibility training, feedback strategies, and the growing role of AI in teaching, grading and research.
Highlights include an opening plenary on course redesign from a recent Exemplary Course Award winner, a look at what WSU's own Blackboard data reveals about AI and student writing, hands-on sessions with Claude for course and program work, mandatory accessibility training and a full track of sessions built for new and returning instructors.
All sessions are free and open to WSU faculty and staff. No registration is required to attend, though staff and faculty may register in advance to receive calendar invites for individual sessions.

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily
Format: Online (Microsoft Teams)
