From the artists:
Frame of Mind is a glimpse into the worlds of a few artists from the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries program at WSU. Drawing inspiration from comics, pop culture, emotion, the human experience, nature, and the wounds and brokenness of life, these artists create provocative and uncomfortable work that challenges audiences. Each artist's intentional choices in mediums, colors, themes, and designs are meant to create windows into the minds of these creators. Each piece is unique in its ability to create snapshots of the experiences of the artist and their vision of the world we inhabit, utilizing surrealism, warping reality, abstraction, and self-reflection.
