Alyssa Campbell, In Mourning

Alyssa Campbell is a senior Art major, English minor at Wichita State University. She is a transfer student from Cowley Community College, where she graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2011. Prior to returning to college, she started her own business to teach painting. At a young age, Campbell was encouraged and inspired to create art by her late grandmother. This exhibit is her first and she hopes the experience will aid in gaining further knowledge of exhibiting her work in the future.

"In Mourning" is a photography exhibit that provokes feelings we all hate to feel. "Everyone hates to mourn, but it is a necessary part of life."

In Mourning is on display in the Cadman Art Gallery, Feb. 10 - 21.
