Make Memories with SAC! The Student Activities Council (SAC) serves as the programming board for Wichita State University. We strive to create meaningful experiences for all Shockers through the events, activities, and opportunities we offer.

About SAC

SAC coordinates over 50 plus social, cultural, and educational events each year that are open to all Shockers. Examples of events include Ballroom Dance Workshops, PaintU Dance Party, Gamefest, Hypnotists, Wu's Birthday Bash, Drag Show, and more. Most of our events are free to students and some admission or registration rates apply to faculty, staff, and community members. Check out our Event Listing to see what is going on.

Become a Member

Membership in SAC is open to currently enrolled WSU Students. Be a part of enhancing the Shocker Experience by joining one of our five (5) planning committees. Committee members gain valuable experiences in event planning, management, and marketing. SAC provides many opportunities for members to connect with college entertainers, vendors, WSU administration, and build lifelong relationships with their peers.
