2025-2026 Fundraising Events

 

February 18, 2025 BINGO!
12:00-1:00 pm, RSC room 265

Join us for four fun-filled games!  Purchase up to three cards per game for a chance at great prizes, one winner per game.

You are invited to also purchase a lunch (by February 10) or bring your own, drop in after 11:30 am to enjoy it before the games begin.

September 14, 2025 WSU Founders' Day

Why are we participating?  WSU Spark Society’s mission is to raise funds for scholarships to WSU students.  Annually we provide two $2,000 scholarships.  

Who can donate?  All of Shocker Nation, from alumni, students, and employees to parents and friends of the university.  Let’s involve many of our members this year!

In 2023, our first year to participate in the Founders' Day event, we raised $955 from 17 donors.  In 2024, we raised over $1,500. 

In 2025, we raised over $2,200 for future Shockers!  Thank you.

Support the current generation of Shocker students by donating to the WSU Spark Society Scholarship/Fellowship fund and/or participate in our fundraisers!  All donations go directly to the fund which helps students attend Wichita State classes through financial aid.

How you can help support students:

  • donate money online, through payroll deduction, check, or credit card
  • be a sustaining donor through payroll deductions
  • volunteer to help with event activities

Donations

Your gift will provide Wichita State students with life-changing opportunities.

Donations to the WSU Spark Society Scholarship/Fellowship fund are made through the WSU Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  All donations are tax deductible.

There are currently two ways to donate.  Securely online, or by mail!

  2. Select/enter your donation amount

Give by Mail! 

  1. Please mail checks to:

    Donations are 100% tax deductible.
  2. Be sure to note WSU Spark Society in the memo area of your check so it goes to the correct fund.

Payroll Deduction

 

WSU Spark Society Scholarship Fund Payroll Deduction Form

All Wichita State University employees are able to contribute to the WSU Spark Society Scholarship Fund through payroll deduction!

Wichita State faculty and staff may gift any of the following:

  • one-time contributions
  • contribution amounts to be taken out of each paycheck indefinitely

Contributions per pay period will continue until your total pledge amount has been reached or until otherwise specified on the form.  It's your choice AND it's easy! 

Instructions for Payroll Deduction donations to the WSU Spark Society Scholarship Fund:

  1. Complete the WSU Spark Society Scholarship Fund Payroll Deduction Form.
  2. Select other and specify WSU Spark Society Scholarship.
  3. Return the form to Campus Box 153.

NOTE:  To end or change contribution amount, contact WSU Financial Operations Payroll at ext. 3074.
