Interest Groups

As membership of this organization is diverse, members' interests travel many different paths.

These small groups are defined and organized by the membership, offering different times and a variety of venues to provide you an opportunity to join other women in camaraderie with similar interests. We encourage you to visit at least one to help you become more active in the University Community!

Book Club

Titles cover a wide variety of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, literature, chick-lit, young adult, memoir, historical, graphic novels, selfhelp, and more! Members pick titles about every 8-10 months, and a different book or theme is discussed at each meeting.

This club meets at 7PM, on the first Thursday each month, and held at member's homes.  Snacks and beverages (usually wine) are provided by the hostess or co-hostess.

Friends & Food

The sharing of food has always been part of the human story.  What is it about food that brings us together?  Food is more than survival. With it we make friends and count our blessings!

This group meets once a month for a Sunday evening gathering at a local restaurant.  Spouses and guests are invited to attend!

Lunch Bunch

 Your lunch break is the perfect time to catch up with your colleagues and friends. Come relax and offload with us, and return to work feeling fresh, focused and full of energy!

A different restaurant each month provides the setting for an informal social gathering.  We meet the fourth Monday of each month, drop in as you are able from 11:30 am-1:00 pm.

This group is not only for our new members!  This group welcomes both new and seasoned members from Wichita State to bring them together.

September 24:  Meet up at Sheet's Creek, 1720 N Webb Rd for social time, drop in anytime , 4:30-6:30 pm.

October 1:  A tour of the Bare It All exhibit at the Ulrich Museum.  Explore the vastness of the museum collection, uncover stories, and discover hidden treasures rarely seen by the public.
