12th annual Kansas Gender & Sexuality Conference

will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2026

on the campus of Wichita State University

Registration is Now Open

We are happy to announce that the 2026 conference registration link is now live.

This year we will have 8 traditional presentations and a panel featuring undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty affiliated with WSU, K-State, and KU including applied research emerging from campus-community collaborations - in addition to our keynote featuring Kansas scholar, Dr. Barbara A. Kerr.

Who should register?
We are asking that all conference attendees register in advance, even if you can only attend part day or plan to drop in and out. Pre-registration helps us with planning refreshments and assessing conference material needs.

Pre-registration will close at midnight on Wednesday, February 25th,but there will still be an opportunity for on-site registration the day of the conference.

As always, the conference is free and open to all students, faculty, and staff from Kansas colleges & universities as well as to our surrounding communities.
