Bark in the Park (NIAR Employee Registration)


NIAR employees and their immediate family are invited to attend Bark in the Park at Eck Stadium this Saturday, May 9 at 2:05 p.m. as the Shocks face Florida Atlantic. RSVP is required.

Those who register with a dog will receive a free NIAR bandana, and the first 30 employees to register with a dog will receive free treats from Dogma316.

These items can be picked up from the NIAR Headquarters building on the main campus in the Executive Offices Room 214 after noon on Friday, May 7.

Free tickets are limited to a quantity of 6. You can purchase additional tickets on your own if needed.

Tickets will be available for pick-up at the main box office at Eck Stadium beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Those entering with a dog must enter through the right field entrance after they have picked up their tickets at the main box office. All others are welcome to sit on Coleman Hill or anywhere in General Admission seating. Please read the guidelines from Eck Stadium below and complete the waiver if you are bringing a furry friend.

Bark in the Park at Eck Stadium Guidelines

All well-behaved and socialized dogs that are up-to-date on shots and vaccinations will be permitted into the outfield area of the stadium. The Shocker Athletic Department will provide waste dispensers to fans with a dog and water bowls will be available.

To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience at the "Bark in the Park" event, please read and follow this important information:

  • Dogs will be allowed to check-in exclusively at the right field entrance of Eck Stadium.
  • We encourage owners with dogs to purchase tickets online, in-advance for seamless entry into Eck Stadium. Fans that don't purchase in advance will need to buy a ticket at the booth in right field before entering through the right field entrance. They CANNOT enter through any other gate.
  • We also encourage owners with dogs to complete the online waiver in advance for seamless entry into Eck Stadium.
  • Fans with dogs are permitted to sit in the grassy areas to the north of the right field entrance, but must remain off the Kosich Korner Deck and Coleman Pavilions.
  • All dogs must be kept on a fixed length leash (no longer than 8 ft.) at ALL TIMES. No retractable leashes, no dogs off leash. Owners are responsible for their own messes.
  • Dog owner assumes responsibility for the action of their dog for the duration of the Bark in the Park event.

All participants are required to execute a Release and Waiver. Wichita State Athletics reserves the right to remove unruly dogs from the premises. For the waiver form, please click here.
