AI-SECC Projects and Activities
WuChat
- WSU is actively developing processes, procedures, infrastructure, and expertise to enable generative AI to be used in a variety of use cases by faculty, staff, students, and researchers.
- WuChat is an effort to develop and evaluate generative AI tools/agents built as a phased approach with each step building capability in collaboration with stakeholders across campus.
- Different versions are being built for different use cases, intended users, and varying features and capabilities.
NIST AI Consortium membership
- AI-SECC represents WSU and NIAR as an official member of the NIST AI Consortium
- The NIST AI Consortium empowers the collaborative establishment of a new measurement science that will enable the identification of proven, scalable, and interoperable techniques and metrics to promote the development and use of AI.
- AI-SECC members participate in collaborative discussions and planning sessions to help develop standards, benchmarks, and best practices for safe and trustworthy AI.
