The Midwest Cybersecurity Center ensures emerging technologies are secure by design and resilient before transition. The Center provides cyber analysis, validation, and advisory support across FirePoint programs and DoD partners, reducing risk early in development and strengthening mission readiness. By embedding cybersecurity throughout the innovation lifecycle, the Center accelerates reliable, secure delivery of next-generation defense technologies.

The Center conducts cyber threat analysis to identify risks and vulnerabilities, validates cybersecurity tools and defensive technologies, supports CMMC readiness through structured assessments and guidance, performs cyber resilience reviews for emerging hardware and software, facilitates academic and industry collaboration to advance secure innovation, and engages and develops cybersecurity workforce talent.
