International Student Insurance
Per WSU Policy 8.08, International Students are required to have Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant health insurance during their school career at Wichita State University.
The Kansas Board of Regents contracts with UHCSR Student Health Insurance as a coverage option for students. As an international student you will automatically be enrolled and charged for this plan unless you provide proof of other ACA-compliant health insurance. We recommend confirming your enrollment early so you can access covered healthcare services without delay.

WHO PROCESSES MY ACCEPTANCE or WAIVER WITH THE UNIVERSITY OFFERED HEALTH INSURANCE?
Student Health Services does not process the insurance waivers for International Students who wish to participate in this process. WSU has contracted with ECI Services to process all waivers and acceptance. We are still available to answer policy based questions.
