Bishop is pursuing an art degree and served as a fine arts ambassador the past two years. In addition to her studies, Bishop works at the Amazon warehouse to help finance her college degree. Bishop traveled to Peru with some art education students to paint a mural. Additionally, she was able to build her network, connecting with the students there. Bishop’s passion is painting desserts to be specific. Painting has become her favorite medium to work with. Other hobbies include reading and caring for her plants.
Bishop is excited for the opportunities to broaden her perspective and gaining mentors through the Widener Global Leaders Program. She is grateful to the influence of past mentors and hopes new mentors will help her to shape future goals and aspirations. She hopes through this program to gain new skills and enhance her knowledge in all areas, but particularly business.
In the future, Bishop hopes to work with a police or sheriff department, maybe in the records or something similar. She isn’t sure how she plans to implement her degree and hopes this program will help her to gain insight within the next year.
