Overview

Rafael Estevan Aviles is an Accounting major at Wichita State University, graduating in December 2025, with CPA eligibility expected by December 2026. He currently serves as an Accounting Intern at National Plastics Color, where he supports both accounts receivable and payable functions, prepares invoices for over 100 clients, and manages high-volume financial entries exceeding $100,000 daily. He also assists in process improvement projects, including designing an Excel prototype to track multistate tax exemptions and collaborating with data analytics teams to automate internal reporting.

Rafael’s professional journey also includes managing marketing and operations at his family’s restaurant, Tequila’s, where he strengthened his leadership and business management skills through hands-on experience in customer engagement and community outreach.

He plans to begin his career in public accounting with a focus on audit and assurance, using his bilingual communication skills and analytical mindset to serve clients with precision and integrity.
