Overview
Omar is a graduate student at Wichita State University pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Alexandria University.
His professional experience spans multiple industries, including technology, business development, and analytics. Currently, he serves as an IT Graduate Student Assistant at Wichita State University. Prior to this, he held roles such as SAP Solutions Sales Advisor at Solex, a SAP Gold Partner; Business Development Manager at InstaShop, one of the largest startups in the Middle East and Africa; and Senior Sales Executive at Glovo, a European and African unicorn company.
Omar’s technical expertise includes Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and machine learning, complemented by strong communication and strategic problem-solving skills. His short-term goal is to secure an internship in business analytics or data science, with a long-term vision of building a stable career in analytics and strategic decision-making. He is deeply committed to continuous learning and thrives in environments that challenge him to adapt and innovate.
Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Omar enjoys hunting, playing pickleball, engaging in deep conversations, and exploring new cuisines.
