Jorge Castillo

Overview

Jorge Castillo is a junior at Wichita State University majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. He works for the City of Wichita’s Parks and Recreation Department and serves as an AVID tutor at both North High School and Pleasant Valley Middle School. He also interns with Impact, supporting Empower—an organization dedicated to uplifting the Hispanic community in Wichita’s North End.

Jorge is recognized for his open-mindedness, adaptability, and strong communication skills. His experiences across education, government, and nonprofit sectors have helped him develop the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and design creative, inclusive solutions. He aspires to pursue a marketing career that combines strategic insight with community impact.
