Overview

James Marlowe is a senior at Wichita State University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Technology from WATC (now WSU Tech).

With over five years of professional experience as a Level III framing carpenter, James has contributed to a wide variety of residential and commercial construction projects. He is skilled in blueprint reading, layout, and project scheduling and has applied tools such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, and Microsoft Excel for design and project planning.

In addition to his civilian career, James has served six years in the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer, Military Policeman, and Infantry Team Leader. His military background highlights his leadership, resilience, and ability to perform effectively under pressure.

James intends to continue building his career in the construction industry while remaining open to opportunities where his leadership, technical, and analytical strengths can support organizational growth. Outside of work and study, he enjoys traveling, photography, and video editing.
