Overview
Jewel Peterson is a driven student pursuing a degree in Health Administration with a minor in Business Management at Wichita State University. She works as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Larksfield Place Assisted Living, where she’s gained meaningful experience in patient care and healthcare operations. She currently serves as the operations lead for the marketing communications team for Empower through the Paid Applied Learning program at the Barton School of Business, supporting community outreach, storytelling, and project coordination.
Jewel has also completed an Adaptive Leadership course, which strengthened her ability to lead with with others, navigate challenges, and bring people together toward shared goals. She’s passionate about making a difference in both healthcare and business settings and hopes to grow as a leader who creates lasting impact within her community.
