Overview

Meaghan Smith, a native of Arlington, Texas, is a Cohen Honors Scholar at Wichita State University majoring in Marketing Data Analytics with minors in Business Analytics and Economics. She is deeply committed to community and service, which guide both her academic and professional endeavors.

As Treasurer of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Meaghan manages financial operations and accountability, gaining valuable leadership and organizational experience. She is also an active member of the Black Student Union and the Golden Heat Majorette Dance Team, balancing academics, leadership, and creative expression.

Professionally, Meaghan serves as a Data Analyst Intern with the Wichita State University Foundation, where she supports donor engagement and research for campus advancement. She previously worked as a Student Annual Giving Intern, gaining firsthand experience in philanthropy and relationship-building.

Meaghan’s career goal is to integrate her analytical and communication skills to create data-informed marketing strategies that strengthen community impact. She also volunteers regularly with Rainbows United, an organization supporting children with special needs. Grounded in her faith and identity, Meaghan is passionate about using her success to inspire others and open doors for future leaders.
