Overview

Karen is a graduate student at Wichita State University pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics, building on more than a decade of professional experience in business, leadership, and data-driven decision-making. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of how organizations use data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decisions.

Throughout her career, Karen has worked with business and workforce data, developing KPIs, analyzing performance and engagement metrics, and translating complex information into actionable insights for leadership. At Wichita State University, she applies Python, Power BI, Excel, and Tableau to develop dashboards, uncover trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Her academic and professional journey across different countries, disciplines, and business environments has strengthened her adaptability, broadened her perspective, and reinforced her commitment to continuous learning. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Karen enjoys traveling, photography, experimenting with new recipes, discovering cuisines from around the world, and learning about different cultures.
