Hello! My name is Chelsea Smidt. I have worked at WSU in the Business Student Success Center since 2018. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and I’m currently working on my Master’s in Human Resource Management right here at WSU.
I don’t have much time for personal hobbies these days, but when I get the chance, I love to travel. Some of my favorite places I’ve been are Colorado, The Bahamas, and Monterey, California. New Zealand, the Mediterranean, Israel, Alaska, and Hawaii are all on my bucket list.
I enjoy helping students find their way, whether by helping them choose a major or by working together to figure out the best path forward through a difficult semester. In addition to work and school, I am the mother of three busy children, ages 2-7, so I understand the struggles many students face as they balance their academic, personal, and professional lives.
