Overview
Nathan Rau has been tuning and servicing pianos since 2012. He is a Registered Piano
Technician in the Piano Technicians Guild and an active member of the Wichita Chapter
of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Nathan studied music at Wichita State University and earned a Bachelor of Music degree
in piano performance and pedagogy. He then earned a Master of Music degree in pipe
organ technology from the University of Oklahoma. He assisted with building, restoring,
and servicing pipe organs as a technician for Red River Pipe Organ and as the service
manager for the University of Oklahoma’s American Organ Institute. He also served
as the staff piano technician for Wichita Public Schools.
Nathan currently operates Rau Keyboard Instruments, LLC where he provides a variety
of piano and pipe organ services.
