Overview

Dr. Alderson earned his BS in Biology from Kansas State University and completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine-Kansas City. He went on to complete his post-sophomore fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Aldersonthen completed a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Minnesota. He is board certified in the areas of anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) and hematopathology.

Dr. Alderson and Southcentral Pathology recently announced a formal partnership with Wichita State University's Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory (MDL), where MDL will perform technical laboratory work beginning Feb. 2025. This partnership will expand access and support the gap in service for rural Kansas communities. 

Dr. Alderson and his wife, Gaylene, reside in Andover with their two sons.
