Overview

Dr. Faulk obtained her B.S. in Biological Sciences at Wichita State and her Doctor of Medicine at University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita (UKSM-W). She then completed her residency in internal medicine with Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education before practicing with the Wichita Clinic (now Ascension Medical Group).

In 2006, she joined UKSM-W as a full-time teaching hospitalist at Via Christi-St. Francis. While there, she served as Co-Director of the Internal Medicine Clerkship, directed faculty development for the department, and received numerous teaching awards.

Dr. Faulk also served in many capacities at Via Christi, including the Medical Executive Committee, Peer Review Committee, the Institutional Review Board, Ethics Committee, Utilization Management Committee, and Medical Informatics Hospital Council.

She is a long-time member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and is a Fellow of Hospital Medicine, having served on the SHM Patient Experience Committee and SHM Hospital Quality/Patient Safety Committee.

In 2016, she joined the staff of the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, where she is the Associate Chief of Staff for Research and works as an ICU staff physician.

She has also proudly served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization.
