Overview
Mary Beth Jarvis is President and CEO of NXTUS, Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps entrepreneurs grow companies of significance. NXTUS connects startup founders to community resources, capital, and customers, as it expands Kansas’ participation in the innovation economy. The organization focuses on supporting innovators and expanding the region’s capabilities in industries such as biomed and med-tech manufacturing.
Each year, NXTUS hosts a unique competition that brings community health technology startups from around the world to Kansas to implement pilot projects that drive population-health and community-growth improvements in the state.
Her previous roles include President and CEO of Wichita Festivals, 15 years at Koch Industries leading Public Affairs functions, and served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Mary Beth currently serves on the boards of the Greater Wichita YMCA, Y360, and Visit Wichita. She was honored with a 2023 Shine award from Storytime Village, by ARISE at its 2020 Martin Luther King, Jr. Heroes and Sheroes event, and was named one of Ingram’s 50 Kansans You Should Know. The Wichita Business Journal has recognized her as a Power 50 member, Women Who Lead honoree, Women in Business (Hall of Fame inductee), Newsmaker, Innovator, and 40 Under 40 (Hall of Fame honoree).
