Jay Moskowitz is the James Buchanan Duke SmartState Chairman Emeritus for Healthcare Quality and a retired Health Scientist Administrator and Dean.

He was former President and CEO of Health Sciences in South Carolina. He was former Principal Deputy Director of the National Institutes of Health, and former Director of the National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
