Overview
Kevin Strecker is a Kansas native who has spent the past 26 years in Kansas healthcare, following several years in Chicago, Illinois.
Throughout his career with Ascension Via Christi, Kansas’ largest health system, Kevin served in numerous roles, culminating in his service as CEO from 2022 to 2026. He is proud of his longstanding connections to WSU, including receiving the university’s 2025 Board of Trustees’ Award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the vital partnership between WSU and the Wichita community.
Kevin currently serves as CEO of Kansas Heart Hospital, a 54-bed cardiovascular specialty hospital in northeast Wichita.
