After School Tutoring Program (ASTP)

Talent Search offers the After School Tutoring Program in Grace Wilkie Annex 163.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Tuesday, 3:30-6:00 p.m. | Wednesday, 3:30-5:15 p.m.  | Thursday, 3:30-6:00 p.m.

Ismail Saeed

Tutor (ASTP)

Ismail is a freshman at Wichita State University and a TRIO Talent Search alumn who graduated from East High School. He recently won the 2025 Poetry Out Loud State Competition and went on to compete in the national finals in Washington, DC in May 2025.

Braeden Miller

Student Assistant

Profile: Braeden is a TRIO Talent Search alumn from North High School, currently majoring in psychology  at Wichita State. Braeden has been on the Dean's Honor Roll, the Freshman Leadership Council, and the FYRE in STEM program. He is currently a member of the Behavioral Economics and Cooperation Team, President of the Pyschology Club, and Senator of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He was a Freshman of the Year finalist and won first place in Humanities and Social Sciences during the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum (URCAF) in 2024.
