Wichita State University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools; specific programs are also accredited by professional organizations. The following credit hours, or their equivalent, define the given time-status as of modifications beginning summer 2018:

WSU defines a GOOD STUDENT as one who is no older than 25, is enrolled full-time, had a 3.0 GPA the last semester enrolled FT (within the last 12 months), and has an overall GPA of 2.500 or better.
