Meet the Peer Tutors
Peer Tutors are prepared to share with students how to effectively study for the course. They are CRLA certified peer tutors who lead sessions to help students master the concepts and skills needed to excel in the course. At each session, the tutor can review notes, clarify concepts, answer questions, explain or demonstrate problems, interpret tests, provide study skills help, and/or give suggestions for test and note taking. Peer Tutors will not do students' homework, introduce new concepts, or help students with take home tests.

I have grown up on a family farm where I enjoy taking care of our cows, chickens, and cats. I live on the west side of Wichita where I went to St. Marks public elementary school, and I later attended Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. I am a huge fan of pigs, and I have had two pet pigs named Butterscotch and Buttercup. I am involved in Shocker Sound Machine, Shocker Sound, Turning Point USA, Green Group, and the St. Paul Newman Center. I look forward to helping others, and I am excited to get the opportunity to further advance others' education and careers!

Hello! I have been tutoring ASL since the fall semester of 2021 and I am looking forward to another great year of helping students! With ASL tutoring we do a lot of repetition and conversation practice to help remember vocabulary and grammar, we also work on facial expressions which help communicate tone. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
