Student Belonging Coalition
The Student Belonging Coalition is a group of student leaders at Wichita State University
dedicated to creating a stronger sense of connection and community across campus.
Representing the Office of Student Engagement & Belonging, Coalition members support
the development and coordination of programs and initiatives that foster meaningful
student engagement and promote a welcoming campus environment.
Coalition members serve as liaisons to university committees and student organizations,
ensuring that student perspectives are reflected in campus planning and decision-making.
They collaborate with peers and campus partners to increase awareness of campus resources
and strengthen opportunities for student involvement.
Driven by a commitment to building a more connected campus, members of the Student
Belonging Coalition work to encourage mutual understanding, celebrate different life
experiences, and create spaces where every student feels a genuine sense of belonging
and purpose.
