About WSU Military & Veteran Services
- Dedicated Support: Provides comprehensive support and resources for military-connected students, including veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, spouses, and dependents.
- VA Education Benefits: Assists students with accessing and utilizing VA education benefits, including the GI Bill®.
- Tuition Assistance: Assists eligible active-duty service members, National Guard members, and Reservists with navigating military Tuition Assistance programs and coordinating benefits with university requirements.
- Enrollment Assistance: Helps military-connected students navigate enrollment, certification, benefits processing, and other university requirements.
- Student Success: Connects students with campus resources, academic support, career services, financial resources, and community organizations.
- Military & Veteran Student Center: Provides a welcoming space where military-connected students can study, connect with peers, access computers and printing, attend meetings, and relax.
- Certification Services: School Certifying Officials work directly with students and the VA to ensure eligible students receive their education benefits accurately and efficiently.
- Military Community: Builds a strong sense of community among WSU's military-connected students through programs, events, networking, and peer engagement.
- Advocacy: Serves as a campus advocate for military-connected students and works with university departments to address their unique needs.
- Recognition & Outreach: Promotes military-connected student achievements and organizes events recognizing military service, veterans, and their families.
- Community Partnerships: Collaborates with local, state, and national organizations to expand opportunities and resources for military-connected students.
- Mission: Helping military-connected students succeed academically, professionally, and personally while ensuring they feel valued and supported at Wichita State University.
