What is the ARC?

The Academic Resources Conference (ARC) at Wichita State University is free online event held in January, May, and August each year. The ARC is dedicated to supporting faculty and staff by providing access to the latest trends, tools, and strategies in education and technology. Through a variety of workshops, expert sessions, and open labs, the ARC aims to enhance teaching methods, integrate new technologies, and foster academic excellence across the university.

The History of the ARC

The Academic Resources Conference began in 2018 with a single-day event. Now the ARC has expanded to meet the needs of our large and diverse campus, as well as the sourounding region. The ARC now brings instructors, staff, and interested others training through Teams for three weeks each year. In addition, we offer on-demand (recorded/online) training, webpage-based training, and custom training events by request.
