Policy
- It shall be the responsibility of the President and each vice president to administer
these policies and procedures for unclassified professionals in their respective areas.
The President and vice presidents may delegate authority to administer these policies
and procedures as appropriate.
- Assistance in interpreting these policies and procedures is available from the Chief
Human Resources Officer, the Associate Vice President Civil Rights, Title IX Coordinator
and ADA Compliance, or designee for the Office of Civil Rights, Title IX & ADA Compliance,
and the General Counsel of the University.
- The equal opportunity responsibilities of the University for unclassified professional
appointments shall be exercised by the Associate Vice President Civil Rights, Title
IX Coordinator and ADA Compliance, or designee in coordination with the vice presidents.
These responsibilities shall include monitoring employment activity (e.g., appointment
process and review of salary recommendations) for the purpose of insuring compliance
with federal and state statutes and regulations.
